COMMON MISTAKES

  • Failing to double check personal details - Please check your email address, delivery address and post code before confirming your order. Incorrect information can derail confirmation, despatch, returns and bookings. Contact and personal information cannot be changed post-order, so double checking is recommended.
  • Failing to double check personal information when registering a kit - These details will appear on your certificate so must be correct.
  • Losing your BRNs (Booking Reference Numbers) - When completing passenger documents regarding return to the UK, you must have your BRN at hand. BRNs are allocated when you purchase Day 2, Day 5 and Day 8 home kits - plus travel packs (green and amber). Your BRN can be found on your order confirmation - please keep a copy to refer to when necessary.
  • Early registration - It is important to take your sample first, THEN register your kit. We are unable to alter the sample collection date/time once it has been registered.
  • Failing to register your sample - In order to receive a result, kits MUST be registered. Register each kit individually, immediately after taking the sample.
  • Incorrect kit usage - Please double check the label on your kit prior to use. Using the wrong kit on the wrong day is common. Kits are not interchangeable, each has a specific purpose.
  • Ordering errors - Please double check the details and requirements of your destination before ordering. Kits are non-refundable and orders cannot be altered once confirmed.
  • Failing to factor in delivery times - We ask that you order as early as you can, so kits arrive in time. Kits should always be ordered prior to departure. Flight details included in your order form are not taken into consideration - except in the case of our Day 5 kits which are shipped on quarantine day 4.
  • Templar Laboratories emails blocked - We ask that you ensure you have dealt with any email server blocks that may obstruct our order confirmations, kit registrations and result reports. Customers are responsible for ensuring their account will accept emails and attachments. We recommend checking spam folders.
  • Incorrect sample date/time - Sample date and time must be entered as per UK GMT.
