Why was Templar Laboratories established?
A commitment to improving healthcare inspired our Medical Director, Professor Stephen Bustin, to establish Templar Laboratories.
The Templar team is driven by the need for accurate and readily available diagnostics, especially in a deeply uncertain post-pandemic environment.
We are currently improving a wide range of tests, with many more in development.

Templar boasts a broad and varied range of services and products which can facilitate prompt diagnoses and effective management of disease and treatment. Chief amongst our clinical services are diagnostic reagents.
We offer comprehensive health checks encompassing sexual health, respiratory health, heart health – and many more.

Templar Laboratories is a consumer brand with a focus on providing innovative, accurate and prompt testing services directly to the consumer – either by post/courier or in our state of the art clinic in Chelmsford, Essex.

Templar Laboratories’ physical headquarters is in Chelmsford, Essex. We offer a UK- wide service via post/courier.
We will be rolling out a number of new clinics across the UK in the coming months and years.
What are the biggest issues within the health sector?
As we look across the globe we see a tradition of managing existing illness as opposed to a focus on preventative healthcare.
By making testing available on a direct consumer basis we hope to extend innovative health technologies beyond the health sector, giving individuals significant control over their health decisions.
